Asparagus was cultivated by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. From ancient times asparagus has been known as one of the healthiest and most nourishing meals on the Mediterranean.

Visit Baška in April, an ideal month for picking these small hidden but tasty green shoots.

Each Saturday, together with a guide we take you asparagus picking along one of the 16 walking paths with a total length of over 80 kilometres. These ancient shepherd pathways will lead you through landscapes filled with the fragrances of medicinal herbs and reveal unforgettable belvederes.

And when you reach the top it will take your breath away; before you are views of an azure blue sea surrounded by nearby islands unfolds and leaves an impression of peace and tranquillity.

After a pleasant walk in nature, in the afternoon hours enjoy in gourmet asparagus specialties. Chef will prepare meals with the picked asparagus through special show cooking, sharing his little asparagus cooking secrets with you…
